SELECTED PROJECTS
Diagrama, 2019.
at Centro Cultural Ross , Pichilemu district. Chile.
DIAGRAM is a sculptural installation that examines the mining infrastructure connecting the Andes Mountains to Chile's central coastline. Through photography, video, sound, and archival documents, the artwork traces the material circulation of copper and water, revealing how both flows shape the territory. Copper bars, wooden structures, and other materials form a three-dimensional diagram in which information acquires a spatial dimension. The wooden supports reference reforestation programs promoted by the mining company, while one of the videos features the testimony of the artist's father, who volunteered in these initiatives. Conceived as an open structure, the installation can be reconfigured with each exhibition, understanding the territory as a dynamic network of relationships between geology, infrastructure, memory, and extractivism.
